Detailed Job description: • Configure, Administer, Monitor and maintain database servers like Netezza and Redshift. • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with Netezza and/or Redshift database management. • Monitor and maintain system health and security. • Design backup processes for server and associated data. • Create account for all users and assign security levels. • Provide end-to-end technical support and problem resolution. • Schedule and perform regular server maintenance. • Create database management procedures. • Database performance tuning skills essential. • Participate in company’s cross-training program. • Strong experience and knowledge in data management policies and best practices. • Managing database access and permissions. • Ensuring that databases meet users’ requirements. • Reviewing and managing database security, integrity, and backup procedures. • Archiving data. • Advanced knowledge of database structure and query. • Experience with AWS and Linux Operating System. • Strong knowledge of shell scripting. • Problem-solving skills. • Automation skills desired.
