Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Provide advice to Business System Owners, Users, and IS team members on all matters relating to planned changes, upgrades and vendor enhancements to applications.
Define business systems requirements, business processes and procedures that align to technical specifications, diagrams and flowcharts.
Assist with regular audits and ensure appropriate permissions are applied and all data is accurate and secure. Analyse existing application effectiveness and make recommendations to improve existing issues.
Deliver high quality documentation, ensuring alignment and compliance within the defined Business Analysis Framework, processes, tools, reporting regimes and approaches
Support the testing team with new and existing applications. -Assist with the planning, prioritising and scheduling of defect resolution.
Accept, manage and escalate service desk incidents and problems to resolution.
Undertake hands-on fixes and preventative maintenance at an application level including application configuration.
Perform and provide monthly user and security audits to the Enterprise Applications Team.
The position is permanent, full time with a minimum of 38 hours a week with a base salary range of $82,000 - $95,000 depending on experience + superannuation + salary packaging benefits!
About you
Minimum 3 years’ experience and hands on knowledge of enterprise applications and SQL.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology
Understanding of problem identification, analysis and resolution with demonstrated skill in range of analytical tools and techniques, including modelling of systems, people and processes to achieve fit-for-purpose results.
Ability to develop user friendly training and procedures by interpreting technical documentation
Basic knowledge of programming languages and techniques including Microsoft .NET.
A pragmatic ‘can do’ approach to meeting time and quality requirements in a complex and challenging business and technical environment.
Strong written and oral communication skills with an ability to engage and influence both business and technical people.
Willingness to be rostered on-call to respond to or manage time-critical Incidents or Disaster Recovery situations.
