Reporting to the Head of MIS, the .Net Developer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining a range of web applications and upgrading various internal systems. In addition to this, the role provides support to internal users of a range of applications including our learning management system and student management system.
To be successful you will require:
A degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
Sound knowledge and experience in 3-Tier Software Development Architecture.
Up to 2 years experience in .NET experience (C#), especially ASP.NET MVC.
Experience in developing applications using REST API.
An understanding of SQL and Relational Database Design.
Strong web developing skills using HTML 5, CSS 3, Bootstrap, JQuery, Angular and JavaScript.
Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships and translate business requirements to technology solutions.
An enthusiastic aptitude with a keen interest to learn new technology.
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
The following experience / skills will be of benefit however is not essential:
Entity Framework
Team Foundation Server (TFS).
Crystal and SSRS Reports.
Scripting using PowerShell.
