What you’ll be doing
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Modern Workplace Representative to join the Managed Services team, focusing on Modern Workplace Support to deliver excellent Information Technology outcomes for clients.
The Modern Workplace Representative will perform day-to-day Modern Workplace support, triaging, service delivery activities and associated tasks, with a focus on first call resolution and the overall operational readiness of network systems. This role will work closely with and report to the Modern Workplace Team Lead.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents within specified SLAs and provided guidelines. • Where applicable, escalate incidents to the appropriate team within the provided guidelines. • Assess and recommend improvements to network operations and integrated hardware, software, communications and operating systems. • Prepare, maintain, and update process documentation for inventory, diagnosis, and resolution of incidents. • Install, configure, test, maintain and administer new and upgraded networks, software database applications, servers and workstations. • Be customer-facing, including conducting on-site visits. • Produce Incident Reports for customers as necessary. • Regularly contribute to team meetings. • Provide support for project-related tasks as allocated by the Team Lead. What will make you successful in this role?
• 2+ years’ experience as a level 1 Support Engineer is a must • Any IT Certificates will be highly regarded, particularly in Microsoft AZ-900, MD-100 and MD-101 • Strong written and verbal communication skills • High level of IT Technical proficiency • Advanced customer service skills and ability to build rapport with clients • Advanced organisation and prioritisation skills • Excellent problem-solving skills • Be able to positively contribute to a team
Qualifications (Desirable): • Microsoft training in endpoint management / deployment: MD-100 and MD-101 • Additional Azure training • Certification 3, 4 and Diploma level or higher qualification in IT
