The Opportunity As our Data Global Platform teams' remit increases due to TIBCO’s global implementation, QBE are looking for an experienced tech lead to strategize, manage and deliver work packages for our Master Data Management (MDM) platform. This strategic role will see you become the leading technical expert for MDM within QBEs Data Management programme, functioning as the highest level of technical escalation within the division along with responsibilities to develop, coaching and guide team members. • Managing the delivery of all build artefacts effectively to ensure quality outputs • Work closely with the team of software engineers to build, customise and integrate software solutions for Tibco EBX. • Update existing systems and integrate improvements to work on the applications already in operation. • Undertake training from other tech leads to ensure familiarity across the platform.
As this role sits within our Group function and has a global impact, the hours of the role do not fall into the standard 9am-5pm. You will work no more than the standard 8 hour day however at times this may need to be tailored to suit timezones outside of Australia, including Asian Pacific, North America and Europe.
Your story so far We are looking for someone with in-depth, hands on technical expertise in a Master Data Manager platform using specific MDM tools. A strong knowledge of Development Lifecycle methods and Architectural Standards methodologies is also critical for this role. You will need excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, experience working in large, complex organisations and also possess the ability to work autonomously. A background in Financial Services would be ideal but is not essential for this role.
