As a Network Engineer with Ansible skills, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients' network infrastructure. You will play a key role in managing and optimizing network performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the overall reliability and security of the network. Your expertise in Ansible playbooks, managing Ansible tower and Ansible networking modules will enable you to streamline network configuration and deployment processes, improving efficiency and reducing manual intervention.
Essential skills & Experience:
• Should be proficient in Ansible playbook & managing Ansible tower. • Hands-on experience in Ansible networking modules and YAML language • Should be proficient in Networking CLI Configuration – Cisco/Juniper/Nokia etc. • Experience in working with SDLC tools - Jira, Confluence. • 5-6 years of experience in Network engineering (CCNP/CCIE) • Strong understanding and experience with various LAN and WAN technologies and protocols like: - TCP/IP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IKE/IPsec VPNs, NAT, PAT, MPLS Traffic Engineering, Multicast, SD-WAN. • Candidate should have strong work experience in switching technologies like Vlans, STP, VTP, ACLS, Inter VLAN-Routing, Ether Channel, Port Security, Port mirroring. • Network and Security engineer will have to provide primary Level- 3 support for Incidents, Change and request tickets by troubleshooting / analysing across Network & Security platforms. • Hands on experience in configuring security policies, and next generation firewall feature web filtering, Application control, IPS and IDS and certificate inspection. • Hands-on work experience in multi-vendor switching platforms like Cisco Nexus and Catalyst series, Juniper EX and QFX Series and Aruba M series switches. • Hands-on work experience in multi-vendor routing platforms like Cisco ASR and ISR series, Juniper MX series routers. • Execute changes and periodic device upgrade, migration, integration activities along with L1 & L2 Engineers and Oversee/Supervise the L1 & L2 Enggs in the specific shifts being managed by the L3 Engg. • Remote IOS upgrade of network devices like Switches, Routers, Firewall and WLC. • Participate in rotating/on-call schedule and monthly maintenance activities like backup activities. • Candidate Must have the Fortinet NSE4, PCNSE certification along with the Cisco CCNA and CCNP is preferred. • Exemplary communication & collaboration skills with appetite for change and transformation • Bring-in Service improvement in the existing processes. • Possess strong skills in planning, project management and attention to detail and has excellent problem solving and evaluative judgement skills. • Communicate and co-ordinate people across geographies and among multiple teams to handle team across offshore and onshore. • Manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines and through various stages of development and approval. • Excellent problem-solving and optimization skills - identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and report issues to the management team; demonstrate appropriate risk-taking and comfort with ambiguity. • Relationship and teamwork focus • Flexible, adaptable, helpful approach • Welcoming changes and feedback
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus. • Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a strong focus on network design, implementation, and troubleshooting. • Solid understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VPN, and MPLS. • Proficiency in network device configuration and management using industry-standard tools (e.g., Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos). • Strong knowledge of network security principles and best practices. • Experience with Ansible automation tooling and scripting (e.g., YAML, Python) for network automation. • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, Wireshark). • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline
