Based in either Northern Territory, Victoria or Western Australia you will join a passionate team of worldwide experts powering the next generation of power grid technologies. You will continue to learn and grow your skills every day, while completing a diverse stream of project and services work for a diverse set of clients.
Minimum Expertise:
-Energy industry experience -Proficiency with at least one modern programming language or scripting language such as Python -Experience with SQL-based RDBMS databases -Excellent computer skills
Preferred Expertise:
Relevant advanced degree -Hands-on experience with at least one Market Management Systems vendor system (GE, Siemens, ABB) -Experience in development of applications for Wholesale Energy Market Systems or Energy Market Trading Systems -Experience with Market Clearing Engine (MCE) applications; bespoke or off-the-shelf -Experience with analytical tools such as Power BI, Cplex solver or Gurobi solver -Experience with cloud computing
Specific Requirements:
-Experience in business requirements’ analysis and specification development -Experience with custom Oracle, Java, and Microsoft-based applications required -Experience in Energy market systems concepts, practices and operation -Relevant academic degree -Strong ability to communicate (verbal and written) technical and complex information
