About the Role We are seeking a full time IT deskside support Analyst for our Sydney office with a sound Technical and strong Interpersonal skills. As a deskside support Analyst will be responsible for support for the GRA and GRLA employees located in Australia and New Zealand, coordinating with global IT teams and third-party vendors for ticket resolution as well as managing the on-premises data center operations. The role would suit an energetic, forward thinking team player with experience in the IT Space. The ideal candidate would enjoy working in collaborative teams with the ability to develop leadership qualities. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the candidate would thrive in an environment of constant internal as well as client interaction.
Role Description: Key responsibilities: •Desktop/Laptop Hardware related troubleshooting •Ensure any IT issues impacting end-users in Sydney is appropriately escalated to the incident management team and coordinate with corporate IT teams for a swift resolution •Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees by setting up workstations, devices and access to systems. •Ability to manage the on-premises data center located in Sydney as well as the Microsoft Azure cloud with the support of various global IT teams. •Able to plan and coordinate the disaster recovery tests as required by the management. •Procure any IT equipment or services required for the day-to-day IT operations with the necessary approvals. •Provide end-user Support for VPN, MS Office, applications. •Prepare and configure new laptops/workstations specifications as assigned. •Works closely with third-party vendors and managed services to maintain systems and services, manage change, and deploy new systems and services. •Windows/software upgradations through Software Center. •Troubleshoot for Windows and have good working knowledge of Office products; provide printer/fax support. •Knowledge of server and network communications equipment, transmission media, security and network management practices •Active Directory, folder access and Group Policy administration, hardware configuration. •Procure, install, configure and maintain conference room AV facilities. •Enterprise Mobility Management administration - enrollment and management of mobile devices. Adept knowledge on Intune •Adept knowledge on SCCM and ServiceNow Related Activities . Contribute to a positive, supportive and disciplined environment. . Skills and Experience Strong technical knowledge of Desktop hardware and software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud environment and disaster recovery procedures in the cloud. Good time management and communication skills with the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholder groups. Ability to manage multiple problems at once and prioritize issues. Strong customer service focus. Ability to work closely with local and global business and IT teams and manage stakeholder expectations. Able to contribute to the team culture and success.
