As a Developer Programmer you will work with innovative clients to protect their ideas and inventions locally and internationally. You must have a high level of ICT technical expertise and clear insights into current programming best practices, as well as programming design patterns.
Job Description:
An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate Programmer to join our experienced Sydney team to assist with the development of our internal applications and web-based systems. This role will suit a soon to be or recently graduated programmer with good foundational skills and a willingness to learn who is looking to kick start their programming career.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with the maintenance & development of a range of business systems including both web and Windows based • Using varied development tools and languages including but not limited to: PowerBuilder, .NET, .NET Core, SQL, JavaScript, PHP, Visual Studio, Java • Coding and testing system changes for in-house software programs • Use of various open-source technologies • Consulting with the system development/IT manager to develop appropriate technical solutions and documentation
Qualifications:
• Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience • Bachelor’s Degree qualified in computer science, software engineering or a related field with a strong programming component, highly desirable • Good understanding of UX • Familiar with C#, SQL, PHP, JavaScript and jQuery, and willing to learn PowerBuilder • A working knowledge of Git and Docker would be desirable • A high aptitude for creating fast, clean code • Willingness to learn • Superior administration skills • Excellent attention to detail • Brilliant time management & prioritisation skills
• Ability to work as part of a team, whilst also working autonomously when appropriate
