You will perform a range of tasks including evaluating proofs, setting publication goals, designing content, and generating story ideas.
As the copywriter, you will demonstrate a good eye for detail and know-how to manage all the moving parts of a publication. To excel in this position, the successful candidate will also possess excellent communication, editing, and proofreading skills.
Job Description:
- Develop compelling and persuasive written content for various marketing materials, including advertisements, websites, social media posts, blogs, email campaigns, product descriptions, and more.
- Responsible for editing and proofreading all types of media promotion content, including articles, press releases, advertising copy, etc.
- Ensure accuracy, flow and consistency of content, including grammar, spelling, punctuation and style.
- Make necessary changes and touch-ups to manuscripts to improve their readability and appeal.
- Conduct thorough research to gather information and insights on the target audience, market trends, and competitors.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather and organize relevant information to ensure content is accurate and current.
- Collaborate with designers, art directors, and marketing teams to develop integrated campaigns and ensure the visual and written elements work together seamlessly.
- Participate in content planning and creative discussions and provide editorial and writing suggestions.
- Adhere to the editorial process and standards set by the company to ensure compliance with the company's brand image and requirements.
Position Requirements:
- Editing experience, preferably in the media or advertising industry.
- Excellent copy editing and proofreading skills, familiar with grammar, spelling and punctuation rules.
- Ability to quickly understand complex information and concepts and present them in a clear and concise manner.
- Sensitivity to detail and good organizational and time management skills.
- Good team player with the ability to work with other departments to complete project assignments
- Basic understanding of the media promotion industry and market trends.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, such as Word, Excel and other editing tools.
