They have an opportunity for an experienced Database Administrator to provide technical support to the Relational Database Management Systems This is a Full Time Permanent Position based in Canberra, ACT. As a Database Administrator you will: Maintain Relational Database Management Systems Monitor and Maintain system health and security Provide end to end technical support and problem resolution Schedule and perform regular server maintenance Establish a disaster recovery protocol Create database management procedures and evaluate models and procedures About you: Relevant data-centric qualification ( computer, engineering or software) A minimum of 2+ years experience in a comparable defence role Advanced knowledge of database structure and theory Experience with SQL and Microsoft SQL Server Familiarity with reporting tools such as PowerShell scripting Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Have a high level of analysis and citadel thinking skills
