We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and professional Level 3 Computer Network and Systems Engineer who can provide phone, email, remote and on-site support to our clients. In this customer service driven role you will act as the first point of contact for end user queries both locally and nationally. The ideal candidate will be confident providing support over the phone, remotely and in person. You will be required to take ownership of customer queries and ensure they are resolved in a timely and professional manner. This role is extremely customer service focused and requires somebody who is personable and has exceptional communication skills. Duties Include but are not limited to: • analysing, developing, interpreting and evaluating complex system design and architecture specifications, • data models and diagrams in the development, • configuration and integration of computer systems researching, • analysing, evaluating and monitoring network infrastructure to ensure networks are configured to operate at optimal performance assessing and recommending improvements to network operations and integrated hardware, software, communications and operating systems • providing specialist skills in supporting and troubleshooting network problems and emergencies • installing, configuring, testing, maintaining and administering new and upgraded networks, software database applications, servers and workstations • providing network programming in support of specific business needs and requirements • preparing and maintaining procedures and documentation for network inventory, • and recording diagnosis and resolution of network faults, • enhancements and modifications to networks, and maintenance instructions monitoring network traffic, and activity, capacity and usage to ensure continued integrity and optimal network performance Skills and Experience Required: • Must have experience working in a Managed Service environment • Demonstrated experience in IT Networks and Data Centres • Understanding of systems and architectures to meet client needs • Experience in Help Desk including break / fix Effective and timely documentation • Effective Task Management Skills • Be solution and outcome focused and willing to learn new technologies • Excellent communication skills with staff, clients and partners • Time management, ability to prioritise and deliver to schedule Experience with N-Able and Connectwise desired What you'll need to succeed: • To be successful in the role you will be required to build effective relationships with customers. • Technically you will have strong troubleshooting skills and be experienced with Win 7, 8 and 10, AD, Exchange and Microsoft 365. • Enjoy working autonomously • Be self-motivated • Have excellent communication skills • Have strong organisational skills and be able to prioritise tasks • Demonstrate lateral thinking and be resourceful Other Requirements: The following are essential and any applicants without them will not be considered: • The applicant must hold a current and valid Australian or State/Territory Issued Driver's License. • The applicant must be willing to travel for work to remote locations to support our clients
