We looking for talented individuals with skills across the below Product Engineering specialities:
QA Engineering
You have experience working with both feature and platform teams and defining the QA process for your team. This may involve looking at the current development process for each team, identifying opportunities for injecting quality, and advocating for process changes to improve product quality. You have experience testing Mobile apps for iOS and Android. You have experience testing Desktop apps for Windows and Mac. You have experience coaching/guiding team members with the best practices for Mobile app testing. You have experience working with teams that design, build and deploy changes across an organization, influencing large teams, defining infra needs and getting buy-in. You have experience working with engineers and have a solid understanding of rich/complex UIs. It will be helpful to have FE and Mobile automation experience. You have a good understanding of what needs to be included in unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and can coach engineers on what needs to be automated. You are meticulous in your work and passionate about testing. You consider every possible scenario during exploratory testing and can spot bugs that others might not notice.
Technical Content Writer
Plan, create, and maintain technical documentation for internal audiences. Work closely with Technical Writers, Engineers, and Designers to enhance our engineering and developer documentation into a world-class resource that developers love to use. Improve the documentation based on feedback and support tickets. Edit, clarify, and proofread documents written by others, and coach non-writers on ways to improve their writing skills. Proactively seek ways to improve the documentation experience.
Security Engineering
Drive delivery of Identity and Access Management solutions for our large-scale, cloud-native, and SaaS application stack, from ideation to completion within start-up time frames, to securely support Canva’s rapid growth Support a security-first engineering culture by making the optimally secure solution the easiest one for software engineering teams to use Driving technical strategy and providing leadership to your team in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment Foster a culture of communication, bridging the communication gap between teams, group, and company leadership Invest in working with engineers on growth and development opportunities to help further their skill set and grow into new roles, with an ability to deliver relevant and timely feedback (positive & constructive) to help them continuously improve and learn Be heavily involved in hiring; build and grow high-performing and highly engaged teams of world-class engineers by attracting, interviewing, and selecting talent for your group Coordinating and communicating across various specialties and parts of the business to understand the impact and feasibility of strategic goals within the group Drive delivery of large, cross-team, and cross-group initiatives and projects from ideation to completion.
