Job Descriptions: • Design on commercial, industrial, and residential civil and stormwater development such as retail, childcare, warehouse, residential etc. • Liaising with Vic roads, Melbourne water, and council authority for civil design and approval progress. • Drafting drawings in accordance with quality standards and current council’s guidelines and as per AS3500.3 • End to end responsibility of civil work from concept design to construction within delivery time frames which includes visiting, attending, and managing client meetings. • Actively participate in promoting innovation including engaging with clients in the view of promoting collaborative research and development • Providing improvement suggestions to increase productivity of the team in meetings in all areas of the business including for example new drafting modules, automation of computation sheets etc.
Requirements: • Experience with civil software- AutoCAD, OSD4W, STORM or MUSIC as a civil engineer • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the same role. • Experience in stormwater design- onsite detention system (OSD), pump system, roof designs, outfall drainage, driveway/Car park design, basement design & Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) and other part of drainage system in the projects. • Experience in the design of structural/residential, residential multi-level building structures, with exposure to the building industry in Australia in residential/ medium density space
