Job Descriptions: Service and repair of motor vehicles Providing leadership, guidance and direction to Apprentice Technicians and leading by example Providing expert advice in relation to the mechanical condition of vehicles Ensuring compliance with Toyota’s Fix It Right (FIR) Guidelines when diagnosing issues to ensure compliance under Australian Consumer Law Working to achieve efficiency in line with set benchmarks Maintaining an up to date knowledge of mechanical issues and changes relating to the product range through technical and new model training offered in the Training Resource Centre Demonstrating and maintaining behaviors that align with the Toyota Way, Toyota for Life and company policies Other duties as reasonably directed by Senior Management level staff Contribute to building a positive team spirit Requirements: Automotive Technician/Motor Mechanic qualification (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology) Previous on the job experience in similar role Gathering appropriate facts and data to clearly understand and resolve guest issues Understanding the importance of teamwork Interacting with others in a respectful and inclusive manner A positive and approachable manner and willingness to work as a team
