Job Description:
• Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of financial data, including revenue, costs, and profitability. Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to enhance financial performance. • Pricing Analysis: Evaluate pricing strategies, assess product profitability, and analyze pricing trends in the market. Make recommendations for pricing adjustments to optimize revenue and margin. • Cost Analysis: Analyse cost structures, including direct costs, indirect costs, and overheads. Identify cost-saving opportunities, cost drivers, and areas where operational efficiency can be enhanced. • Business Case Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate investment opportunities, conduct financial feasibility studies, and prepare business cases for new projects, products, or initiatives. Assess the financial viability and potential risks associated with proposed ventures. • Reporting and Presentations: Prepare clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate analysis findings, financial performance, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. • Data Management: Collect, validate, and maintain financial and operational data from various sources. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality while utilizing appropriate tools and software for data analysis.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA qualification is highly desirable. • Proven experience as a Commercial Accountant or in a similar financial role within the manufacturing or engineering industry. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis. • Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
