Job Description:
BI Dashboard Development: Create and administer BI dashboards for our customers, ensuring smooth functionality, performance, and security.
Data Integrity and Security: Implement and enforce data integrity and security measures, including data encryption, access controls, and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Database Design and Development: Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to design and develop efficient and scalable database solutions. Participate in the design of data models, schema, visulisation and indexing strategies to support business requirements.
User Management: Create and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions within the Office 365 environment, following best practices for security and data access.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud and on premise databases connected to customers line of business applications. Investigate and resolve problems in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations.
Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures for Microsoft SQL, Azure and on premise based databases to ensure data integrity and minimize the risk of data loss. Test and validate backup and recovery processes regularly to ensure their effectiveness.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years proven experience as a BI Database Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Power BI, Office 365 administration, including dashboards, user management, and security settings.
• Experience with database management and troubleshooting within the Office 365 and Azure environment.
• Understanding of data integrity, security principles, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with Office 365 services and applications such as Power BI, Azure, SQL, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
• Must have working knowledge of Connectwise Manage and Connectwise Automate.
