The role includes providing a range of technology solutions to the client base, as well as prospecting and obtaining new clientele. You are a motivated and ambitious sales professional with a passion for technology and are driven to achieve sales targets, whilst delivering on customer excellence promises. The ICT Account Manager’s goal is to maintain oversight for all IT services and solutions provided to assigned business and external customers and driving for high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. The ICT Account Manager will ensure best quality outcomes and value resulting from the provided IT services and solutions. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years of proven industry experience within the role, in a professional services environment, and will contribute to the development of the business unit’s strategy, plans and priorities by providing relevant input and understanding of existing and emerging technologies, applications and trends. Minimum Requirements: • Bachelors’ Degree in related field • At least 2 years of experience in Account Management Sales • Experience in developing an IT solution for a customer that leads to a successful outcome would be beneficial • Experience in managing and leading teams • Prior experience of managing account with large annual contract revenue • Good understanding of relevant technologies and applications • Ability to establish and manage processes and practices through collaboration and the understanding of business In this role your main responsibilities include: • Build an understanding of the customer landscape, competitors and relevant frameworks • Partners with client to ensure all IT initiatives align with and help drive the business unit’s strategic plan, the strategic plan for the organization as a whole • Foster alignment of IT capability and service delivery with business objectives and strategic roadmap • Building a sales pipeline through identifying and solving customer needs • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders • Cultivate and qualify sales prospects to establish a robust sales pipeline • Formulate sales strategies for designated business segments (partners, customers, industry) • Provide leadership and guidance in critical customer planning and engagement • Perform critical customer analysis to identify and leverage the marketing programs to achieve growth in their customer’s solutions capability • Manage stakeholders’ perceptions and expectations with all IT services and capabilities • Strategise and lead engagement with contacts across targeted accounts • Maintain and monitor pipeline and metrics for assigned customers, performs analysis and identifies improvement opportunities • Advise on the compilation of target market penetration strategies and estimate the size of the opportunity in the short, medium and long term • Overseeing the sales cycle from identification of opportunities to implementation by the project team • Exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs
