Description Manage client accounts and represent Direct IT in selling a range of computer hardware, software and other ICT goods and services to industrial, business, professional and other organisations. Main Duties • Compile lists /develop and update database of prospective client businesses. • Acquire and update your knowledge of Direct IT services and Direct IT’s competitors' goods and services, and market conditions • Regularly visit prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities and retain existing clients. • Assess customers' needs and explain the Direct IT services which will meet their needs • Promote Direct IT’s ICT services to existing and prospective clients • Quote and negotiate on prices and credit terms and complete contracts and record orders • Arrange the delivery of goods, installation of equipment and the provision of services. • Report to sales manager-Team Leader on sales made and the marketability of ICT services • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with ICT services purchased, arrange modifications and resolve any problems that may arise. • Prepare sales reports, and maintain and submit records of business expenses incurred
