Job description Completing financial accounts and tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts, and SMSF's. Completion of BAS, IAS statements, FBT returns and annual GST returns, Reviewing client's accounts prepared by their bookkeepers/internal accountants. Providing payroll support, payroll tax lodgments, workers compensation forms. Assisting in tax planning and compliance. Qualifications Proven minimum 5+ years recent Australian level experience in an accounting practice as a tax accountant. Experience with MYOB Accountants Enterprise, MYOB and XERO, Reckon/Quickbooks. Highly skilled in the use of MS Office Suite. Strong knowledge of the Australian Accounting Standards and taxation legislation. Strong attention to detail. Confidence in interacting with clients. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Motivated to develop your knowledge and progress your career.
