Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Architectural Draftsperson to join our dynamic team. As an Architectural Draftsperson at Infinity Plus Construction Company, you will play a crucial role in transforming concepts into detailed, precision-oriented architectural plans. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients and project teams to develop innovative and unique architectural design concepts that meet client objectives and project requirements.
Prepare accurate and comprehensive construction documentation, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to refine and detail design concepts, incorporating structural and technical considerations.
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify architectural drawings.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Assist in project coordination and communication with project teams, contractors, and clients.
Foster strong client relationships by presenting design proposals, soliciting feedback, and incorporating client preferences into the design.
Conduct site visits and inspections as needed to ensure that construction aligns with design specifications and quality standards.
Review and revise drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
Contribute to the development of innovative design solutions and sustainable practices.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
Strong attention to detail and precision in drafting.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations (Tasmania, Australia).
Previous experience in architectural drafting is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
