Educational requirements: Diploma or trade qualification

English requirements: Competent English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 3-5 years

Accept remote work: unacceptable

Job Descriptions: • Conduct repairs to products and tools • Operate in production areas and have the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans • Use of stone cutting, shaping and binding tools • Certified to operate heavy machine, cranes and forklift/mobile plant and equipment • Assist in provision for on-the-job training in conjunction with other employees/supervisors/trainers for new employees to that area • Correct use of hand and power tools and other equipment • Preform basic quality on the job checks to ensure compliance to customer specification and report failures to the Production Manager • Facing of concrete articles with a trowel • Undertake mould assembly & stripping and lubrication of moulds in a safe, economical manner • Operation of various vibration methods employed on site, to return a consistent quality, once skill set obtained. • Safe operation of cranes • Smooth, polish, and bevel surfaces, using hand tools and power tools. • Cut concrete or other masonry materials. • Smooth surfaces with abrasive materials or tools. Requirements: • Experience as a skilled Stone Mason in a like minded manufacturing environment is required • Working knowledge of construction and manufacturing processes and knowledge of the relevant Australian standards and guidelines • Exceptional communication skills. • High level attention to detail and organisational skills. • Ability to multitask and work to deadlines. • Proactive can-do attitude with the ability to use initiative and work unsupervised. • Ability to interact with all levels of staff, management and customer contacts. • Must be Computer literate • Microsoft Suite of Software If this sounds like you, please apply right away by submitting a current CV and Cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.
