Essential Criteria:
Relevant tertiary qualification or experience
2 years of experience in a similar role
A valid Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated experience coordinating volunteer programs within a youth sector
Demonstrated experience recruiting, retaining, training, managing and developing employees and/or volunteers
Proven administrative skills, with an ability to maintain efficient records, management systems and operational systems
Sound organisation and planning skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop programs, and manage complex tasks with competing concurrent deadlines
Experience in administering schedules and/or in scheduling staff and/or volunteers
Ability to liaise, interact and communicate effectively and easily with a broad range of people, both internal and external to an organisation, in a professional and ethical manner
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically and to plan ahead
High level of computer literacy, in the Microsoft/google suite of applications and database management
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Experience in program planning, implementation and evaluation
Experience engaging with volunteers/young people via various mediums (Social media, newsletters, online portals)
A positive and collaborative approach to teamwork
Experience managing program budgets
Demonstrated ability to mentor volunteers/youth
