Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 3-5 years

Job descriptions: :• Studying engineering drawings and specifications to understand the site and the project and identifying possible environmental impacts • Collecting soil and rock samples using drilling rigs at different depths and intervals across sites • Preparing samples for testing the strength, compressibility and other relevant factors and determining the safe loading for the soil • Coordinating with laboratory professionals to provide specifications and testing methods • Making recommendations on the disposal of construction wastes (refilling or removal) and the transportation methods when removing wastes • Advising on the use of construction materials in order to improve environmental performance • Performing Site Classification, Footing Probe, and Percolation test for residential and commercial development projects • Performing multiple bearing capacity assessment for trenches, mobile crane, piling rig, telecommunication tower and high-rise buildings • Reviewing water management practices for residential and commercial projects • Studying environmental regulations and ensuring full compliance Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering (Environmental/ Geotechnical/Civil/ • Structural) or a demonstrated equivalent • At least 3 years’ relevant experience • Experience with earthworks related projects would be highly regarded • Demonstrated experience in site investigation and consulting projects • Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organizational and time management skills • Understanding of construction & engineering drawings • A high standard of accuracy and attention to details • Analytical and critical thinking skills
