Your day-to-day duties will include:
Processing clients Invoices in system
Monitoring credit card charges, refunds, returns and miscellaneous charges in system.
Daily entry of key data of transactions/orders
Answering accounts call and assisting with phone/email enquiry
Investigating and resolving problems and discrepancies related to Invoices and payments
Participate in month end account closing activities.
Maintain orderly scanning & filing system as per company procedure
Assist senior work colleague with any tasks conducted within the accounting department, or any tasks that require accounting personnel to take part
Contact customers to notify them of overdue accounts and accept any payments made at the time of contact
What are we looking for?
It is paramount that you have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, allowing you to liaise internally and externally with a range of clients and stakeholders.
This role requires you to work closely with various teams and people within the business, so you will need to be proactive and approach other staff where required.
You will also have a:
Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or similar
A good working knowledge of accounting functions
Good knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and database applications including MYOB
