Responsibilities:
Produce high-quality GIS products (maps, figure, images, vectors and raster datasets) for both internal and external reports and presentations, ensuring high-quality standards in the data management and production.
Support experienced environmental professionals and project teams in different Australian jurisdictions, providing technical advice and spatial information when required.
Assist the GIS team, designing, implementing, monitoring, managing, and enhancing the Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI) by analysing GIS datasets national and international regulations
Requirements:
A degree qualification or related spatial discipline or environmental science (engineering) is required, or relevant and demonstrable technical skills and experience may also be considered.
A minimum of 2 years relevant experience is essential.
Possess the skills to acquire, integrate, analyze, manage, and distribute information about locations in space and time, and develop related products that optimise GIS processes.
Understanding about Spatial Data Infrastructure and design.
Understanding of CAD datasets and conversions to GIS software (QGIS and ArcGIS Pro), as well as an understanding of cartographic elements for map creation.
