As a System Administrator at Geforce Technologies, you will be responsible for: • Responding to user-reported issues and providing technical support. • Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers to ensure high performance and reliability. • Managing and maintaining our network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls. • Creating, modifying, and deactivating user accounts, while ensuring proper access controls. • Implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard critical data. • Monitoring for security threats and vulnerabilities, and taking proactive measures to protect our systems. • Installing, configuring, and updating software applications and maintaining software licenses. • Diagnosing and resolving hardware issues to minimize downtime. • Setting up monitoring tools to track system and network performance and ensuring optimal resource utilization. • Maintaining accurate records of configurations and changes to assist in troubleshooting. • Identifying and resolving hardware and software problems to keep our systems running smoothly. • Developing scripts and automation routines to streamline tasks and enhance efficiency. • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies. • Assessing system and network capacity and planning for future growth. • Collaborating with other IT professionals to deliver integrated solutions. • Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in the field.
You must have the following skills: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). • Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role. • Strong knowledge of server management, network administration, and IT security. • Proficiency in scripting and automation. • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Effective communication and collaboration with team members.
