For this exciting role will require you to have completed the following: • Conducting research to understand user requirements, and developing software solutions to meet those needs. • Identifying, investigating and analysing business processes, and recommending optimal processes for system functionality and best business outcomes. • Maintaining/upgrading software applications to meet functional/performance needs and following full systems test processes to ensure functional & performance needs are met. • Capacity for developing and deploying functional solutions and creating system test plans to ensure quality and integrity of the system and creating technical documentation to suit. • Collaborating with other IT professionals, project managers, software engineers, database administrators to create integrated solutions, providing guidance & assistance on the project direction. • You must show that you have followed prescribed Project Management methodologies; Agile, Waterfall etc in developing project plans, costings, resourcing for project management • You must show that have kept up-to-date with the latest with technology trends across payments and the broader ICT industry
As an ICT Analyst - Payments you will be working both individually and in a team of similarly experienced payments knowledge and experienced SMEs across a variety of payments and cards software solutions broadly covering the following:
• PCI DSS frameworks, implementation and compliance • Payments gateway technology expertise within the payments front-end and back-end environs. • Specific technologies • Postillion (Office, Realtime), Connex, Postilion, Base24-eps, IST/Switch, Authentic or similar payments gateway and switching • EFT, PinPad and Terminal Management Systems • Qualifications of a BSc tertiary degree in technology or 5 years Payments technology work experience may be acceptable • Exceptional customer service expertise • Established top rate analytical skills • Proven ability to apply problem solving skills • A true team person positively working with teams and stakeholders
