Job Descriptions:
• Being passionate about a career as a Chef or Cook • Assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to the highest standard, • Provide input into menu development, • Be well presented at all times, • Ensuring that food recipes are followed properly during food preparation and cooking time, • Contributing to high levels of customer service, • Complying with regulations regarding Health and Safety, • Assist with ordering and stock maintenance, • Ensuring a clean, safe and hygienic Kitchen environment at all times, • Undertake any reasonable duties that may be assigned by the Head Chef or senior manager, and • Comply with all WH&S policies and procedures.
Requirements:
• Enjoy practical work, • Have good communication skills, • Be able to work as part of a team, • Be able to work quickly and safely in a fast -paced environment, • Be able to work under pressure, • Display good personal hygiene, • Have some familiarity with food and beverage service, • Be prepared to work a flexible schedule with irregular hours (inclusive of weekend and split shifts), and • Be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
