Job Descriptions:
Execute carpentry repairs and renovations to rectify structural damage or construction defects. This includes tasks such as replacing damaged or rotted wood, repairing or installing doors and windows, fixing framing issues, and addressing other carpentry-related challenges.
Conduct thorough assessments of construction issues or damage to determine the scope of work required for remediation. Identify the root causes of problems, evaluate potential solutions, and provide recommendations to project managers and stakeholders.
Ensure that all repairs and renovations comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Adhere to established safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others on-site.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably with a focus on remediation or repairs. • Solid knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials. • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think creatively to find practical solutions. • Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans. Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards. • Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform demanding tasks. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
