Educational requirements: Diploma or trade qualification

English requirements: Competent English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 0-1 year

Accept remote work: unacceptable

Job Descriptions: Ensure scheduled plants for intended sale/distribution have passed the required growing period and meet specifications for desired customers Ensure that all specialised nursery equipment is in working order and liaises with the Production Manager if issues arise Ensure Greenhouse Processes are closely followed to suit conditions of growing plants, tissue culture and soil moisture, to minimise any mechanical damage and produce high grade plants Liaise with Production Manager daily Continually monitor plants through the growing / spacing and grading periods to ensure thehighest quality with minimal damage Identify and report unusual disease or plant pest signs Apply chemicals to control pest, weeds and diseases Carry out emergency disease or plant pest control procedures for infected plants Requirements: AQF Certificate III or AQF Certificate IV or equivalent or; At least three years of employment experience as a Production Horticulturalist with relevant formal training or; At least five years of employment experience as a Production Horticulturalist with no formal training Minimum 1 year experience using the following equipment in a wholesale nursery environment: Javo Potting Machine and Spacing Robot Logiq Greenhouse Robotic System General knowledge / understanding of the Willburg Robot and Roller system and its place in an automated nursery production line
