Educational requirements: Bachelor

English requirements: Proficient English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 3-5 years

Accept remote work: unacceptable

Job Descriptions: Manual handling/hands on technical treatment of waste materials Hazardous substance and dangerous goods handling and management Conduct routine simple analyses, equipment verification/calibrations Internal research and development Method development, mathematical calculations, and computations of measurements Review of procedural documentation to maintain controls and standards Conduct sampling on and offsite for external analytical services Fieldwork (generally in the Perth metro area), collection and manifesting duties as required Requirements: Experienced in hazardous waste management - eg. neutralization, immobilisation, fixation, hydrolysis, and sampling unknown material. Good communicative and interpersonal skills Have a proactive approach, work autonomously and as part of a team Understand writing and reviewing technical documents, i.e. Safety Data Sheets, Safe Work Method Statements Methodical and effective record keeping skills Clear understanding of DWER Landfill Waste Classification and Waste Definitions Current valid Drivers Licence Current Forklift Ticket
