Educational requirements: Diploma or trade qualification

English requirements: Competent English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 3-5 years

Accept remote work: unacceptable

Job Descriptions: • Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry with workplace communication • New tiling and grouting • Retiling and Tiling Repairs • Epoxy Grouting • Handle floor tiling materials and equipment • Plan, measure and mark surfaces to be covered and layout work • Read and interpret plans and specifications • Prepare wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, cement and adhesives • Fill all holes and cracks, then clean surfaces • Attache tiles to surfaces, using correct adhesive, making sure that patterned tiles match • Use tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges, corners or around obstacles such as fittings and pipes • Space and even the tiles by using tools such as spirit level, squares and plumb lines • Lay floors of cement, granolithic, terrazzo or similar composition • Apply waterproofing systems
