To be considered for this role you will need to:
Demonstrated experience in Xero
Have previous bookkeeping experience within a small to medium size business
Be proficient in all aspects of bookkeeping, a minimum 1-3 years Australian experience (essential)
Strong Excel and Microsoft office skills
Be committed, self-motivated and resourceful
Have high-level communication skills
Have excellent attention to detail
Duties include:
Aged Receivables: Data entry debtor payments, reconcile aged receivables, track and follow-up outstanding debtors
Aged Payables: Data entry creditor invoices, payment of invoices, data entry creditor payments, reconcile aged payables
Processing of Weekly Payroll
Experience With Quickbooks Time, Previously T Sheets would be desirable
Bank Account: Maintaining bank feeds and processing transactions
Reconciliations: Bank accounts, credit cards, PAYG, staff superannuation, GST control accounts, BAS and IAS
Liabilities: Payment/processing PAYG/IAS/BAS, payment/processing staff super , payment/processing loan/s
Reporting: Preparing financial reports, Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Payroll and Annual Payment Summaries
Procedures and Manuals: Maintaining accounts manual
Compliance and Risk: WHS, Certificates of Currency and Insurances
Administration Support: General office support, answering phone calls
