Job Descriptions:
Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements under Australian accounting standards. Reconcile bank statements, credit cards and accounts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data. Conduct regular audits of financial transactions and processes to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support cross-functional initiatives. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Implement and maintain internal control system Provide annual budgets on timely manner in November of the year Provide financial and taxation advice on Business Structures, plans and operations Provide professional suggestion on accounting policies
Requirements
Minimum 3+ years profession experience in accounting or finance roles Strong knowledge of Australian accounting principles and standards. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members at all levels. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding ethical standards. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially Ability to work stand-alone
