Job Descriptions:
Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate as well as protect interior or exterior surfaces,
Read blueprints/instructions and examining surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary.
Smooth surfaces, using sandpaper, brushes, or steel wool and additionally remove old paint from surfaces, using paint remover, scraper, wire brush, or blowtorch to prepare surfaces for painting
Fill nail holes, cracks and joints with appropriate material caulk, putty, plaster
Select premixed paints, or mixes required portions of pigment, or oil for required colour
Requirements：
AQF Certificate III relevant qualifications
Relevant experience and skill set to perform aforementioned duties
At least 2 years experience in a residential painting role in the painting and decorating industry
Deep understanding of chemical stripping, abrasive blasting, and power washing techniques for surface preparation
White card
Good knowledge of colour theory and various finish types
Physical agility to climb ladders, carry heavy equipment and to stand for long periods
