Job description:
Surveying and preparing job sites,
Follow instructions from supervisors to perform tasks like drilling, job preparation, injection of resin, etc,
Operate equipment; Resinject units, forklifts, pumps, compressors, spray guns, drills, lasers, compressors and other heavy machinery.
Interpreting work assignment instructions, applying appropriate procedures and selecting equipment
Collecting and analysing data, and carrying out computations
Estimating material costs and ensuring finished works are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions
Conducting field and laboratory tests of construction materials and soils, and collecting data for traffic surveys
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or related discipline
Understanding of technical plans and drawings
Problem-solving approach
Ability to read, write and orally communicate in fluent English
Able to understand and carry out instructions within safety requirements
Able to work within a team and autonomously
At least 3 years of experience in similar roles
