Educational requirements: Bachelor

English requirements: Competent English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 1-3 years

Accept remote work: unacceptable

Job Description: • Read drawings and understand and comprehend specifications on the blueprint. • Carry out accurate measurements of metal components and prepare for cutting. • Cut and bend metal material according to drawing. • Fit and assemble metal parts to construct equipment. • Make parts as per the specification and fit parts to machinery • Make and fit parts to pumps, engines, and conveyor systems • Make and fit parts to hydraulic and pneumatic-driven machines • Operate lathes, milling machines and drilling machines Requirements: • Be Trade qualified (mechanical) or have 2 years of trade assistant experience in a similar role • Document, record and track servicing and maintenance requirements • Demonstrated commitment to WHS policies, procedures and regulations • Reliable and honest with a great work ethic • Ability to work under time-sensitive situations • Time management and prioritisation skills • Willingness to be trained with new equipment as the business evolves and grows
