Job Descriptions:
Diagnosing issues with returned data loggers, and identifying hardware, software, or firmware problems.
Perform necessary repairs on defective or malfunctioning devices, including replacing parts, soldering, and reconfiguration.
Maintain detailed records of all troubleshooting and repair activities, including the nature of the issue, steps taken, and final resolution.
Assist the R&D and Production teams with testing related to Quality Control and compliance of products.
Work closely with the engineering team to provide feedback on common issues and suggest improvements in product design or manufacturing processes.
Develop and run diagnostic tests to validate the functionality and performance of devices whenever design or production changes are introduced.
Requirements:
At a minimum, an Associate Degree or Advanced Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree in these fields is desirable but not required.
At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with electronics repair, particularly in diagnosing and fixing hardware issues in IoT devices, sensors, or similar electronic products.
Skilled in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering equipment, and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic circuits.
Basic understanding of embedded systems, firmware, and software debugging. Ability to perform firmware updates and interpret logs.
Strong analytical skills to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.
Meticulous approach to diagnosing and repairing devices, ensuring that no issue is overlooked.
