Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
Prepare drawings, plans, and designs under the guidance of Mechanical Engineers.
Conduct root cause analysis and diagnose solutions for machine breakdowns and faults.
Install, remove, inspect, and repair mechanical parts, such as bearings and seals.
Perform major equipment overhauls with or without external contractors.
Disassemble, assemble, observe, repair, test, and collect data on equipment, generating maintenance reports.
Maintain non-electrical safety, process, and utility equipment.
Perform rigging and lifting operations to safely manage heavy machinery and materials.
Troubleshoot process and automation issues on the manufacturing line.
Ensure products meet compliance regulations.
Requirements:
Relevant Trade Qualifications with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
Attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
Physical fitness and the ability to work in diverse environments.
Capability to work independently and within a team.
Strong communication skills.
Self-motivated, organized, punctual, and reliable with excellent work ethics.
