Responsibilities: Conduct initial site inspections for the design team Safe induction of sub-contractor scaffolders and labourers to SWMS and scope of work (OHS and work safety, clean site) and sign off SWMS Reporting of any site hazards e.g. (fall hazards - open pools, trenches, cuts or voids adjacent to the site; live and high voltage power supplies to existing buildings) Request additional equipment to complete the installation via a Google form sent to the office/warehouse Work with scaffold erectors to identify smooth site manoeuvres within the scope of works (e.g. use of cranes), hold site meetings with clients/builders and deal with any issues that may arise On completion of scaffold erection, carry out safety handover checks against the scaffold design drawings to ensure that adequate ties and bracing are in place and that the scaffolding is erected to the required standard Ensure that all licences (including electrical and engineering certificates) are obtained and complied with before scaffolding erection work commences Carry out routine inspections of existing scaffolding on site and update scaffolding labels. Check the security of hoardings and shade clothing (if any) Make minor adjustments or modifications to scaffolding where necessary (occasionally) Updating the Project Manager on all work in progress Pass on all new leads to Senior Manager to assist in achieving sales targets Maintain work progress and communicate effectively with builders/site managers Communicate effectively with labour, logistics and design departments on all projects Take direction from, but not limited to, the Project Manager Minimum Requirements and Skills: - Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook skills - Effective time management skills - Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously - Ability to take initiative and work unsupervised - Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin/Cantonese. - Possession of a valid driving licence and site white card (company car will be provided to the successful candidate) - Positive working attitude
